February 2010

Our 2010 show schedule has been approved but we have not completed the showbill information.

May, July and August will be 3 days shows.  The May and July shows will begin @ noon on Friday with the Ladies & Mens class and the Open class will begin no earlier than 6 pm.

The August show will start @ 8 am on Friday.  This show will include a Snaffle Bit class and also a 2 year old "COMING OUT" class.  Details on the schedule will follow.

Paid warm-ups for these 3 shows will be held on Thursday.

The indoor arena will not be available until after 2 pm on Friday, June 18th.  Please plan your arrival accordingly.

Beginning with our 2009 show season, all exhibitors in our Green Reiner I and Green Reiner II classes must be members of CORHA.  In order to qualify for weekend and year-end awards, the rider and horse owner must both be members of CORHA.

We are looking for class sponsors for any amount.  Please respond to our email address if you are interested.

We have some exciting prizes for our 2010 season!!

Dean Allison is donating a custom saddle pad with the CORHA logo done in silverwork.  The champion and the reserve champion for each class will be entered in a drawing at our year-end banquet.  The drawing will be conducted as a reverse raffle.  The last entry will be the winner.        The owner or rider must be present to win.

There have been some changes for the 2009 season:

  • There is a new entrance to the show grounds.  The new entrance is just south of the previous entrance on Rt 68.

  • Please be considerate of the exhibitors who require rv hook up.  Horse trailers must be parked in the south or west lot.  Horse trailers parked in a rv spot will be charged a hook up fee.

  • There will be no more haul ins.  Exhibitors will pay for a stall for each horse.

Please make sure you have verified your eligibility for classes.  This is especially important for non-pro, novice, youth rookie and rookie classes.

CORHA will be offering a Rookie Level 1 and a Rookie Level 2 class.  These classes will run concurrently.  The Rookie saddle will be awarded to the winner of the Rookie Level 2 class.  We will be offering our Novice classes as Level 2.  It is the responsibilty of the rider to make sure the correct class is entered.
